Life as I know it…
I am a junior at Montreat College. I’m a Cross Cultural major, don’t ask me what I want to do with it cause I couldn’t tell you, only God knows that. School’s ok, but when my head isn’t stuck in my books you can find me among the trees, and rivers of the mountains. Backpacking is a recent hobby of mine that I have discovered this summer! I love it, and can’t get enough of it. I find complete joy in running up mountains and spending my days walking in their clouds and sitting on their cold rocks. I also enjoy kayaking, something I have been doing for a few years. I crave to feel the rush of water beneath me; it’s cold, unsteady hands pushing me farther down the river to where it almost sleeps! It’s one of the most beautiful things someone can experience in nature; its rage yet complete control and then it’s peace. I like to run around barefoot and feel the earth beneath my feet. I enjoy hammocking and have found it’s more comfortable than my bed. I like to watch the stars late at night and think about how vast and mysterious our universe is.
